January 22nd prayer

January 22nd prayer…
Father God I acknowledge Your supremacy over all things. You are on the throne and, I worship You. In awe and wonder I gaze upon You all day long. I sing Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God Almighty. The One who is, and was, and is to come. All things are subject to You Lord God. Your rule is for eternity and I will praise Your Holy name all the days that You give me. Let my prayer and worship be a sweet incense to You oh God.
Blessed is the Name above all names, that is Jesus Christ. Jesus you are seated in the holiest of holy places, at the right hand of the Father. I bow to Your kingship and submit my life to You. My Father, who art in heaven, hallowed by thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, here on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily Bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but, deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory for all time. My life is Yours Lord, I will serve You as a bond servant all of my days. Reign Lord Jesus and bless this world. In Jesus’ holy name I pray, AMEN.

January 21st prayer

January 21st prayer…

Father God, Your promises create hope in those who wait for You. I believe that You will faithfully fulfill all the promises that we read in the Word. You have rescued Your people time and time again when we strayed to worship other gods, like money, lust, greed, power, and self adoration. Forgive us Lord. I worship You God, the Creator and wait on You to move on my behalf. Remind us Lord that You are seeking our repentant hearts in this very moment. I trust Father that when we turn from evil ways, thoughts, deeds, and habits that You will be there waiting with open arms. You have good things in store for those who wait on You. I pray Father that in the times of waiting I would get to know more and more of You. In those quiet times let me rest in Your arms. When it is time to move Jesus, lead the way. When the waiting is over God I pray that we, Your bride are ready and willing to do all that You set out for us to accomplish. Let us serve our King of Kings in love and truth so that Your glory shines brighter than ever before. Teach us and train us Lord God for the next thing so that we are willing and able through Jesus Christ to accomplish greater things. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.

January 20th prayer

January 20th prayer…

Father God You heard the prayers of Your Son Jesus when he prayed for all believers. Jesus prayed that all believers would be united in Him just as You are in Jesus and He is in You. Jesus prayed that all who should believe in You should be united as one. Let us remember as sons and daughters of the one True God, that You passed on Your glory through Jesus Christ, that we might be glory bearers. For Jesus prayed these words, The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one,
John 17:22 ESV
We carry Your glory through Jesus Christ. My prayer Lord God is that we would conduct ourselves in such a manner that the world would see Your glory flowing out of Your church. Help us to come together in unity Lord. Let us be peaceable, loving, truthful, honorable, and forgiving. Let us be quick to show mercy and slow to speak. Help us to do a new thing today God. Unite us through Jesus Christ that we might show many more the way of salvation. In Jesus’ holy name, Amen.

January 17th prayer…

Father God your love for us is extravagant and, beyond measure. You made a way for us to come back to You even after the fall. You never leave us or forsake us. Jesus, Your only Son, was sent to defeat sin and death on our behalf. Thank You Father for giving us the choice to choose between life and death, blessing or curse. I chose life through Jesus Christ my risen King and that is the moment you resurrected me! I was dead in my transgressions and, now I am alive in Christ. A new creation meant to further the kingdom of my Father in heaven. Your ways are by far too extraordinary for mere humans to grasp so You reveal bits and pieces for us to understand. Help Lord in our faith to always keep our eyes fixed on You. Let all that we do reveal Your glory to a broken world. Remind us, Your church that we were created in Jesus Christ to preach the gospel and baptize new believers. Give Your church a new awakening to rule and reign as You commanded in the beginning. Forgive us Lord for trying to live in both worlds. Give us the courage to leave the old life behind and never turn back. Thank You Father for Your extravagant love. In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN.

A prayer for Guidance

Father God help me to lean on You and not my own understanding. When I don’t know which way to go or what decision to make, give me a word. Speak Your wisdom through those You have placed in my sphere of influence and give me the discernment to know it is from You Father. I believe in Your promises for me, that You have already gone before me to clear my path. I understand that life won’t always be easy. Our Savior Jesus Christ suffered and so shall we. When those times and lessons come show me the way I should go. Guide me Lord God in Your ways. Let there be no confusion in my heart or mind. Make Your way clear to me. In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN.

For this God is our God forever

January 7th prayer

January 7th prayer…

Father God, Your kingdom economy is perfect and sound. It is our economy that is upside-down. You say give and you shall receive. The world says if I give I have less so I will hold back what I have. Lord, why doesn’t world know that all we have is from You? None of our treasures belong to us. It is all Yours. We are only stewards and all treasures that we obtain in this life are like dross. They will sift away like fine sands. You, Jesus are the treasure we should seek. In You we find unconditional love, forgiveness, acceptance, and salvation. All of which are far more precious than money. Forgive us Lord for our greed. I pray that as Americans we can all come together as good stewards of Your lavish gifts. These are not ours to store away! You give and call us to become more like You Jesus. You give us 24 hours so that we may give of our time. Jesus, You forgive our sins so that we may forgive those who sin against us. You have mercy for is each morning so that we may be merciful to others. Jesus You teach us to pray so that we can pray for others. Lord, let Your kingdom come here on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus name I pray, AMEN.
