January 21st prayer…

Father God, Your promises create hope in those who wait for You. I believe that You will faithfully fulfill all the promises that we read in the Word. You have rescued Your people time and time again when we strayed to worship other gods, like money, lust, greed, power, and self adoration. Forgive us Lord. I worship You God, the Creator and wait on You to move on my behalf. Remind us Lord that You are seeking our repentant hearts in this very moment. I trust Father that when we turn from evil ways, thoughts, deeds, and habits that You will be there waiting with open arms. You have good things in store for those who wait on You. I pray Father that in the times of waiting I would get to know more and more of You. In those quiet times let me rest in Your arms. When it is time to move Jesus, lead the way. When the waiting is over God I pray that we, Your bride are ready and willing to do all that You set out for us to accomplish. Let us serve our King of Kings in love and truth so that Your glory shines brighter than ever before. Teach us and train us Lord God for the next thing so that we are willing and able through Jesus Christ to accomplish greater things. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.
